you guys are always like “i want equality!” except gay people are better than straight people and women are better than men and poc are better than white people and trans people are better than cis people
if you claim you want equality, but put someone down because they’re privileged, that doesn’t make you an advocate for equality, it makes you an asshole
I don’t give a shit about grand gestures or flowers at my door, I just want your teeth across my neck and my lips pressed to the small of your back, I want your stupid fucking sense of humour making me laugh at 4am when I have to be up at 6.
do you ever get into one of those situations where you’re like “I need to stop hating this particular person it’s not going to get me anywhere I’m just going to grow up and move on with my life” but then they do the tiniest thing to piss you off and then you’re like “nope fuck you right off I want to throw you off a bridge”
Date someone who would rather watch your favorite movie with you then go to a party on Friday night. Date someone who will share their food with you even though you said you didn’t want any. Date someone who will warm your hands in the winter and kiss your pink nose. Date someone who will text you they love you at 2am and at 9pm. Date someone who will let you change the station in the car when they’re driving. Date someone who can make you smile when you would rather die. Date someone who makes your insides feel like you’ve just downed a bottle of vodka. Date someone who makes you better.
"Created entirely by 15 year old Anthony Amorim, ‘Adam’ is the story of a 16 year old boy and his struggle through depression. Based loosely on submitted stories from real teenagers, ‘Adam’ is a video diary-esque look at depression in teens."
Over the summer of 2013, I wrote, produced, filmed, edited, and starred in a short film called Adam. It also stars Kathleen Currie as my mother. The film is based on bloggers on the website Tumblr, and one of my best friends who suffers from depression. It is also based on the song Adam’s Song by Blink-182. I hope you guys enjoy it, and I hope it inspires people to get help.
I’m sorry the video is in such bad quality, it would take a very long time to release it in HD.
This one of the most accurate portrayals of depression I’ve ever seen. Bottom line, if you’ve ever struggled with depression/anxiety/just feeling alone, you need to watch this. Also, this kid is phenomenal, and I definitely cried watching this.
This is how I feel every day. I’ve just become good at hiding it when I’m around people.
